Attending a wedding needs some special clothing than the day-to-day clothing. Contemporary clothing styles have undergone many changes with time. It has been revolutionized by the globalization among many more things. There are traditional as well as modern wedding dress selections in the market now.
The most important aspect to consider while deciding on the dress is the place where the wedding is going to be held. It can be in church, hotel or in beach side. These are completely different setups altogether. When the invitation is received for the wedding, one has to find out about the location of the ceremony. A dress for a beach wedding will not be compatible for a church wedding at all. Especially when it is in church, an appropriate design should be chosen since it is a religious place.
The time of the reception is also very important. Most of the weddings are held in day time although there are some evening weddings as well. The colors and designs will change according to the time of the function.
Women have many choices for the wedding dress. For a beach function they can try out different style dresses because it is allowed for the place. If it is a church, it has to be much more formal. One important thing is to avoid full black or full white dress for a day time wedding. Other than that it is up to the designer to make the decision.
When it comes to men, it is much more traditional still. Most of the men prefer a suit with a tie for a daytime formal wedding. It has set the standards for a long time. Even then there are people who go for an unorthodox type of dress.
Whatever the design may be, it should fit with the body shape and size of the person as well.
